Koinonia means, community, communion, fellowship.
Members of the Koinonia Community international are from different church backgrounds, Anglican, catholic, orthodox, Evangelical, etc.
They are servants in their church community, communion as lay, deacon, priest, pastor, elder, teacher, evangelist, apostle, prophet, and bishop, Archbishop.
We are all longing to work and serve together in the kingdom of God, and we all like to see the walls of division that has made between our churches fall down.
We don't talk about denominations, but we see the diversity of churches like the tribes of Israel. We need each other to battle against the spirit of division, against Satan's influences.
Our desire is to learn from each other.
But also to establish a new generation of servants in the kingdom that can be a hybrid between the different church cultures and have the vocation of unity into the body of Christ.
Koinonia community international is part of Mission for Unity International.
The founders of Mission for Unity International are Rev.fr Roger Maatje and Maud Maatje.
